Pantry Pack Volunteer Registration
Help us feed hungry kids!
Did you know that 17,000 students in Davis School District do not know where their next meal will come from? With school closures and job losses due to Covid-19, there is a huge need for pantry packs. Pantry packs are bags of food that are distributed to food insecure students to take home for the weekend (they would not have food to eat otherwise). This year the need is greater than ever. Because church groups, charitable organizations and groups are not meeting together, the pantry pack supply is extremely low. Help us safely put together 4,000 pantry packs for food insecure students in Davis School District.
This year in order to safely serve, we are going to serve in shifts. For a suggested cash donation of $100, you will get a 30-minute time slot to come in with your own group of 10 people or less, and safely assemble pantry packs. 100% of your donation will go to purchase food for the pantry packs, and since Smith’s Food and Drug is discounting the food, your donation will go even further.
We will sanitize the area after each group, and you can buy multiple time slots if you want to serve for more than 30 minutes.
Want to help, but don’t feel comfortable coming in? Simply donate money via This Link and we will assemble pantry packs for you.
Thank you for helping and for spreading love in our community! The world needs love right now.
